News: COVID-19 Update

We Are Closely Monitoring the COVID-19 Virus.

PECU’s number one priority is, and always will be, the health and safety of our members, employees, and communities.

We know you are concerned about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our country and our communities, and we want you to know that we at PECU are monitoring the situation closely.  We are committed to being responsive to your financial needs as well as the ever-increasing need to help ensure member and employee safety.

In accordance with government guidelines, and to help further prevent the spread of COVID-19, all PECU lobbies will be temporarily closed beginning at 5 PM Thursday March 19, 2020 until further notice.  All PECU branch Drive-Thrus, however, will be open at our regularly scheduled hours.  You can click below to see all of our branches and scheduled hours.  Please pay particular attention to the scheduled drive-thru hours.

PECU Branches and Hours

Please know that Financial Services will continue to be available by phone at our regularly scheduled hours of 9:00AM to 5:00PM.  To reach a Financial Services representative, please call 512-474-1955 and choose Option 3.  You can also send an email to and you will receive a timely response.

The Loan Department will also continue to be available by phone during our regular hours to assist you with any type of new loan you want to make.  Please choose Option 1 for the Loan Department.  For calls about existing loans, Financial Services is ready to assist you when you choose Option 3.

Certain lobby-only services, such as meetings with Loan Officers and Safe Deposit Box access are available by appointment only.  Please call Financial Services at 512-474-1955 and choose Option 3 to leave information.  We will contact you and set up a mutually agreeable appointment.  For the safety of members and employees, please do not request a lobby appointment or use a drive-up service if you:

  • Have been exposed to, or have been diagnosed with, COVID-19
  • Share a household or close relationship with someone who’s been exposed or diagnosed
  • Have recently traveled to an area outside the Austin area that has been identified as high-risk
  • Are currently exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID-19

We encourage you to use our digital tools as much as possible during this time.  These free online tools are accessible 24/7 and allow you to manage your account remotely.  This includes:

  • E-Bill Pay
  • E-Alerts
  • E-Statements

For the most part, it will be business as usual for members, with the exception of the closed lobbies.  We apologize for any inconvenience this creates, but these changes are necessary for the health and safety of PECU’s members and employees.
